My Background and Approach
For the past 15+ years, I have worked in multiple settings in the NY metro area including residential, community, and hospital programs.
I have advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Both are effective to treat many emotional problems including depression, anxiety, and recovery from traumatic events.
My approach works well for those who are eager to talk about their problems in the ‘here and now.’ My work with clients involves careful listening and collaboration.
I offer talk therapy in the office setting or through Video Telehealth for those interested in receiving therapy in their home, school, or workplace.
